Gerald Sackett, son of Gordon Russell Sackett and Elsie Ellen Pocock, was born in Ontario, CanadaG, in 1920.1 He married in about 1941, Harriet "Hettie" Prentice, daughter of Robert Prentice and Mary ___.2 Hettie was born in Toronto, Ontario, CanadaG, on 16 September 19212 and died aged 88 in CaliforniaG on 9 December 2009.2
     In 1921 Gerald was living at Lambton Mills, Etobicoke, York County, OntarioG, in the household of his parents Gordon and Elsie, and was recorded in the census as Gerald Sackett, aged nine months and born in Ontario.3,4
