George A Sargent, a leather worker, son of Irving P Sargent and Sarah J Sackett, was born in Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New HampshireG, on 3 December 1871.1 He married in Brockton, Plymouth County, MassachusettsG, on 14 February 1899, Elizabeth E Reynolds, daughter of Patrick Reynolds and Margaret Gough.2,3
     In 1880 George was living at Manchester, Hillsborough County, New HampshireG, in the household of his parents Irving and Sarah, and was recorded in the census as Geo A Sargent, at school, aged eight and born in New Hampshire.4
