Orrin Osborne, son of Seba Osborn and Mehitabel Goodyear, was born on 5 April 1820.1 He died aged 78 on 28 August 18981 and was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, New York StateG.1 He married Diadama Coons. Diadama was born on 17 December 1824.1 She died aged 92 on 10 February 19171 and was buried at Prospect Hill CemeteryG.1
     In 1870 Orrin was living in Durham, Greene County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as Orrin Osborn, farmer, aged 50 and born in New York. His real estate was estimated at $20,000 and personal estate at $2,500. Living with him were his wife Diadema, 45, and their children, Frances, 14, Marvin, 11, Edwin, 9, Carrie, 6, Emma, 4, and Nellie, aged one. Also in the household was Adelaide Coon, 40, presumably a relation of Diadama.2
