Gad Sackett, son of Gad Sacket and Lucy Williams, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 27 September 1789.1,2,3 He died aged 36 in Russell, Hampden CountyG, on 9 June 1826 and was buried at Russell CemeteryG.4 He married at the First Church, WestfieldG, on 28 September 1817, Hannah Cadwell, daughter of Timothy Cadwell and Joanna Holcomb.5,6 Hannah was born in WestfieldG on 25 January 1799.4 She died aged 54 in RussellG on 25 May 1853 and was buried at Russell CemeteryG.7
     Gad served as a Private in an artillery regiment in the Massachusetts Militia in the War of 1812.8
     Gad was listed in the 1820 census as a householder in RussellG.9
     Gad died intestate. Letters of administration of his estate were granted in the Hampden County Court on 11 July 1826 to his widow Hannah.10
     Gad's widow Hannah was listed in the census in 1830 and 1840 as a householder in RussellG.11,12
